We ordered VanMade Gear cab set shades and the rear door shades. They are very well made, not flimsy and fit perfectly. We previously purchased the fan/vent cover and mosquito screens for the cab windows; we are very happy, and absolutely love our shades/screens/cover.

Wonderful customer service experience!! We were going to a rally and Van Gear made sure that we received our shades on time. These shades fit much tighter (like a glove) than our OEM shades for our 2022 Travato. They are also much better insulated. We also have their fan cover which works great!

2023 Dodge Promaster - side shades fit perfectly. Front shade a bit clumsy and not a perfect fit. Haven't yet tested for overnight just for sun protection but suspect light will come in.

I removed the Remi Shade that came with my Travato and replaced it with the Van Made Gear cab shades. There is no comparison, I haven't measured it but it's at least 10 degrees cooler in the cab. The fit is good and easy to install.

Simon and those at VanGear have gone above and beyond. At first I thought the covers where to big but once we got them in that work great. My next venture is to find covers for the other 3 windows. Being a Winnebago I might have to pay them a visit. They have done the rear windows, the. Ceiling Fan, the Sliding Door, and now the Driver, Passanger Windows and the Windshield! I will be working with them again.

The black looks real nice on our red Travato. At a glance it is hard to tell that they are even in place. At night I can get the shades to block all escaping light. During the day I can get the shades to block all incoming light. Best of all I can hardly feel any cold coming in from the large front windows. We turned our heater on and the cabin stayed nice and comfy. Light weight, easy to use, well made and good looking product!!

I ordered the complete set including side and back. The side did not fit due to me having the manufacturer rig. No Problem, they allowed me to return the side shade and sent me one that fit perfectly. Shades are well made and are excellent quality with excellent service.

Received my Vanmade Gear windshield and cab side window covers as ordered. I've used them on 2 trips. I really like them. They fit snuggly, are flexible, and really make a difference in the insulation of the cab in my Class B van. I am very happy with this investment in using my van to the fullest extent (in comfort!). The hype is real - these really are superior to the stock window shades that came with my Winnebago. Better fit, better insulation, easier installation, easier storage. The only confusion/difficulty I have with them is the side window pleats are horizontal, not vertical, and I constantly attempt to place them incorrectly.

So far so good. They are very easy to put up and I like how the side windows fold down so they can be open a little bit for ventilation but still keep most of the sun out. I haven’t used them yet for real cold or hot travel so I can’t comment on that. I like how they fit the windows completely to keep it completely private.

Excellent fit and product quality. Keeps the van much cooler than the oem shades. THe only issue encountered is mounting the vent cover - it is magnetized, and tried the extra magnets sent with the cover as well, but everything around that fan is plastic or pewter . Tried adhesive backed velcro but it fails to stick to the Vanmade cover, sticks to the plastic on the van like it's welded to it. My next solution is to put some screws in the plastic trim for the magnets in the shade to attract to. Any solutions Vanmade has would be welcomed.

The front cab set of three shades for my 2018 Promaster does exactly what I expected. The shades seal very well, offer instant privacy and look good from inside and outside the van.
My biggest take-away is that Vanmade manage to produce an awesome shade, the quality is superb. Stitching was perfect, materials used look first class.

Arrived just in time for an 8 day trip to Montana from San Diego. Lowest night temperature experienced was 28°F, could really feel the temperature difference between the outer and inner surfaces in the morning. Good insulation. Side window shades are a little finicky, position of magnets on shades vs. position of plastic on the 2021 Ram Promaster doors. They are easier to install with the doors open. Slight light leakage across the top of the windshield shade, due to how the sun visors don't quite seal the shade around the top. Overall, looks like good construction that will last, with easy folding and storage in the compartment above the seats of the Promaster.

These interior window covers are excellent as advertised! They fit secuely and are shaped perfectly to fit our Promaster Van. It has begun to get very warm in Michigan now, and they have provided a noticeable improvement with the interior temperature of the vehicle and protection from sunlight. These covers also fold up very easily and can be easily taken in and out of the provided storage bag. I would highly recommend these if you are in the market for an interior window cover for this type of vehicle.

Yes, the shades are expensive--especially if you're on a budget (as I am) but this is something I tried to skimp on and it just didn't work out. BUY THE WINDOW COVERS (and the bug screens, I have those too). I cannot stress how amazing these things are. The quality and workmanship of these are incredible and they work wonders for insulating your van, as well as keeping the prying eyes out. You won't regret the purchase for a second!

Our 2022 Travato came with a set of front cabin insulated window covers that fit loosely in the window with magnetic straps for the sides, while the two large front window inserts were held in place by the sun shades only. I was very surprised to see how great these VanMade shades fit on the sides and front. The VanMade shades are like having blackout shades for the entire front cabin area and they fit perfect into the openings to limit very little cold air transfer into the cabin during winter camping. Again, these were well worth the cost to replace the stock shades for a superior performing shade.

We have the full set of shades for our Promaster with the marine-grade reflective exterior. After using them in all seasons, we found them to be extremely useful for keeping heat outside in the summer and inside in the winter. The privacy they afforded us was also invaluable; with the easy snap-on magnets, you can put them up in seconds and have true blackout privacy.
