Revel 2018-2020 - Cab Partition

Very impressed with the quality, fit and functionality. And a surprise bonus to boot! The drivers side panel has six pockets that were not advertised and I was not expecting. My former divider did not reach the floor and allowed cool air to leak to the living space and humidity to leak into the cab. The Gear Vanlife goes to the floor. It takes a little getting used to it to roll it up and stow it neatly, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a breeze. Great for cold camping and stealth camping. Highly recommended.

I just installed the partition on my 2020 Revel. Great quality and excellent fit! I got this to replace a thermal curtain that for some reason was designed not to hit the floor - so it leaked cold air all night. This one very effectively seals the driver’s area from the living area. Installation was easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find 6 storage pockets built into the driver’s side panel accessible from the rear passenger seat. I want to leave the partition in all the time, but I want it to be stowed when not needed. This is where it drops in points. My last one opened like a shower curtain. So it was easy to pull to one side and clip in place. This one is designed to roll up. The center section is easy, but the roll is a bit bulky. The sides are the real issue. Since the van tapers at the top, when you roll it up, the outer edge is wider than the van. And on the drivers side, the cabinet prevents you from rolling it all the way up. So you cannot roll it as one big zipped up unit. You have to roll it in sections. And the two side sections don’t stow cleanly, especially the driver’s side. The tie ups are unique and an interesting design. Simple to use once you figure it out, but they use elastic cord and I am afraid it will stretch out over time. So for me it is a mixed bag. Love the fit and quality. When deployed I could not be happier with it. But I am a bit disappointed that the stowed position is so clunky. And that is how it will be most of the time.
