They block out UV rays, insulate, and reflect radiant heat, keeping your van cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
Warning: may not be compatible with vehicles that do not have Mercedes OEM trim panels. Please make sure your window looks like one of the pictured windows above. If unsure, please submit a photo of your window taken from inside the van for Vanmade Gear to verify.

Once you get the magnet things installed its great but let me tell you… getting the plastic up to put the metal pieces installed so the magnets have something to grab onto was HARD!

I Had ordered the side shades before and they're very good at blocking light, so I decided to get the back windows, the new shades are different hope they do the same blocking effect.

I’ve owned the Vanmade roof vent for my Sprinter van for many years and it has been terrific. Recently I purchased the Vanmade rear door window covers for my new 2024 Sprinter van and installed them this morning. While the quality and fit of the Vanmade covers is excellent, the install is not so easy. Prying open the plastic framing to slide the magnet clips in to place is challenging. I strongly recommend you use trim tools to help slide the clips in but even using them it is still difficult. My only suggestion to Vanmade in their installation video and instructions is to provide more information on installing them and let folks know it’s not easy but doable. After a trying install I’m very pleased with the product.

We were looking for some rear window shades for our 2023 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4 that were easier to install/remove than what came with our Entegra Launch. We were tired of all the zipping and unzipping, plus the original really didn’t block out all the light. I researched all the alternatives and the VanMade gear products were highly rated. So I decided to go with them, even if they were a little more expensive than some of the competitors. Ordering and receiving was simple. I have the full plastic trim on my rear doors so I had to install the little metal clips on the trim so the magnets in the shades had something to attach to. Getting the clips installed took a bit of effort in order to not damage or detach the trim panels. I was better on the second window. Then just put up the shades, no problem. The magnets hold really strongly. Plus the shades accordion so you can keep them attached at the bottom and see out the top. I’m very happy the product and would recommend them for your Sprinter.

This is our third Sprinter based van and our third different set of rear window shades. These are the best! The others had steel pieces that got taped to the glass and ultimately fell off in the heat. These metal pieces clip onto the plastic door panels. The shades fit perfectly and don't allow any light to sneak in around the edges. Very happy with the purchase of these!

Well made shades. Very custom fit for Sprinter van. We bought version for full plastic window trim. This requires install of 9 metal clips for the magnets in each shade to attach. So…total of 18 clips to install. Recommend using set of plastic auto trim tools to help with install.
